RIS Internship life cycle

The lifecycle of the RIS Internship Programme starts with the launching of the Calls for applications. Calls for applications are envisaged as follows (the Programme managers maintain the right to change the schedule):

Calls Launching of the Call (start date) Duration of the Call (end date)
Date Responsible partner
Call for organisations (.pdf) 28/02/2022 UNIZG-RGNF until 31st October 2024
Call for students 2022 (.pdf) 01/06/2022 until 31st October 2022
Call for students 2023 31/01/2023 until 31st October 2023
Call for students 2024 31/01/2024 until 31st October 2024

All calls will be published on the Programme website, which we like to call a Business - Intern Matching Platform.

Organisations apply via an online application form available on the website. Applied and approved organisations will enter the open database (Pool) of organisations, providing all relevant information online, for the potential interns to explore. The database is managed and maintained by the RIS Internship Consortium. Students will be able to read the descriptions of all organisations and see the details of internship opportunities, the number of applicants for each organisation, and submit their application for the most suitable one (and one alternative option).

Matchmaking of the students and organisations will be made by the RIS Internship Consortium, by following an agreed procedure. After a match between the student and an organisation is made, two contracts will be signed: one between the Programme management (UNIZG-RGNF) and the student, and the second one between UNIZG-RGNF and the hosting organisation. After the signature of the contracts, both the student and the supervisor will be directed to an online training (webinars) prepared by the Consortium. Immediately after the completion of the trainings, a competency assessment will be caried out.

On the basis of the contracts signed, funds will be awarded to the student.

After the completion of an individual internship, a report will be submitted by an intern to the Programe managers (using an online form). Both the intern and the respective supervisor will answer a survey assessing their cooperation and other elements of the Programme, in order used to monitor and improve the quality of the programme.
