TUBAF conducts research and teaching in the following areas: environmental geosciences; exploration, geophysics and geoinformatics; energy technologies; raw materials chemistry; process engineering; material science; recycling technologies; resource management; environmental impact assessment; mining, geotechnical engineering, mine surveying and geodesy; waste management. - Horizon 2020 project: European Training Network for the sustainable, zero-waste valorisation of (critical) metal containing industrial process residues – SOCRATES – 1 September 2016 to 31 August 2020;
- Erasmus+ Programme: EMerald Master Course in Resources Engineering.
